I’m thankful for 2020.
For hope in the midst of tragedy.
For new life.
For the Holy Spirit who is ever near and oh-so-kind.
For abiding favour with men.
For breakthroughs that were delayed but ultimately not denied.
For doubts that led to life-altering revelations.
For the gift of faith and the grace to stand in salvation.
For counsel and rebuke that left me better than it found me.
For spiritual sight.
For the blessing of the Body.
For the acceleration of Church online.
For the promise of 2021. Not in the wishful thinking that things will be easier but in the guarantee that God has already preceded us and will be with us every step of the way.
2020 has not dented the sovereignty of God.
He is still speaking. He is still moving. He is still loving and kind and good.
He is still for us and not against us.
So let Jesus be the reason for your life. Not just this season.
Have a blessed December and see you in the new year.
