Celebrating my mama-in-love today. She passed away early on in our marriage.
When I was grieving the loss of never getting to truly know her and journey with her….grieving the loss for our children who would never get to meet her on this side of eternity, I’ll never forget what God said – look at your husband and you’ll see everything you need to know about her. So will they.
He was right. I see so much of the woman she was in the man my husband is.
She’s the one who taught him how to pray.
How to hear God. How to have a relationship with the Holy Spirit.
How to cook and clean and be a responsible man. A loving husband. A doting father.
She raised him to be a man who would seek after God with all he had in him. I see him do just that. Every single day.
In many ways, my husband is a product of women who sought the face of God. Just like me.
My mama-in-love was a #DaughterDestinedForDominion and the legacy she left behind speaks volumes of how she ran her race on
earth.
It was an honour to have known her for the short time I did and I can’t wait to get to know her better in
eternity. ❤️
