Day 1 of my October fast: I got a call from a potential client.

After a few conversations with them during the month, I happily redirected them to a different service provider who was better positioned to give them what they wanted. I get my business advice from the Holy Spirit and He told me where to send them.

They were back in a day saying – nah, we want to work with you. We’ll take whatever you can provide us with.

Why would God have me send the client to someone else knowing they’d return? It was a beautiful way of showing me that anything that’s meant for me will find me and stay. I don’t have to strive to make anything happen. Even in my work, I can be at rest.
